Home Education Art Tutoring

Nurture Your Child's Creativity!

Friendly, encouraging, educational and fun Art, Craft and Digital Photography Tuition is offered as support for children in home education or as extra curricular art for children over12 years old by Art Tutor Zangmo Alexander. Art lessons can either follow the National Curriculum, an exam syllabus or be more individually tailored to the needs and interests of yourself and your child, or both together!

Zangmo will discuss with you what you and your child are interested in and then agree together what you would like from the Art Tuition, in order to nurture a good relationship and a more personalised approach.

GCSE Art, A Level Art Tuition and Art Portfolio preparation for Art College and University applications are available.

Art sessions are available at times to suit you, daytime, evening and weekend. These sessions can be for as long as you want, and as often as you want. You only pay for one session at a time.

Understanding, Empathic, Qualified Art Tutor

Zangmo used Home Education with her son at one stage, and is very sympathetic to the wide range of individual needs and interests of Home Educators. All enquiries are very welcome, including from people with Special Needs children. She will listen to what your needs and wishes are and then suggest individually planned tutoring aimed at really helping your child develop happily and creatively.

How Could Home Educators Benefit From an Art Tutor?

People come to Zangmo wanting Art, Craft or Digital Photography tuition for their child for a variety of reasons - often because they are finding it more difficult to input Creative Arts and Crafts subjects because more specialised knowledge is needed once a child is in their teens, especially if GCSE or A Level Art are being considered.

Special Needs

If your child has special needs, then one to one tuition is often the best answer, when Zangmo can give your child her undivided attention to nurture their needs and interests and build up their self confidence.

Working Out a Programme Together

You may have a particular approach you would like followed, or want to integrate Art, Craft or Digital Media with other Curriculum areas. Zangmo will listen to your needs, and agree a way of working that you are happy with.

Individual or Group Sessions?

Often home educators get together and want to share the cost of an art tutor. Zangmo is able to teach both individually and in groups, so do contact her to discuss your needs.

Cancellations: Please note that if a One-to-One lesson is cancelled with less than 24 hours notice from the start of the lesson, the full fee is payable. If it is cancelled with more than 24 hours notice, then the fee is not payable. This also applies to One-to-One Art or Photography lessons paid with a Gift Voucher.
