Teaching Art and Photography well involves a totally different skillset from the doing of Art or Photography. As I am both a fully qualified teacher and a practising artist with 28 years' teaching experience teaching, I am confident I can understand how to help you progress in the way you want to - and if I do not feel I can help you, I will say so before you pay me anything!

There is total flexibility of time, date and frequency of your art or photography lessons - choose from daytime, evening or weekend lessons to suit you.

Confident that you are being taught by a very patient, encouraging and experienced art tutor and artist, you decide what you want to learn. I will work alongside you to help you learn and explore what you are personally interested in, more like a coach than a teacher.
Pay for only one Art or Photography lesson at a time
Just pay as you go - you do not have to commit to a term's fees in advance.
All Art and Digital Photography media taught
I can help you learn to explore ideas and themes in any art medium, including pencil, charcoal, ink, watercolour painting, watercolour pencils, oil painting, acrylic painting, pastels, mixed media, collage and digital photography. Learn traditional, representational approaches or contemporary, experimental or therapeutic approaches depending on your interests.

Cancellations: Please note that if a One-to-One lesson is cancelled with less than 48 hours notice from the start of the lesson, the full fee is payable. If it is cancelled with more than 48 hours notice, then the fee is not payable. This also applies to One-to-One Art or Photography lessons paid with a Gift Voucher.
